African Export-Import Bank Internship 2023 | Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following conditions to be considered for the Afreximbank Internship:

  • Students who have demonstrated enrollment in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programs at a recognized institution. The Bank will be particularly interested in candidates with degrees in economics, business administration, finance, accounting, social sciences, statistics, law, or similar subjects.
  • Citizens of the Bank’s member countries.
  • Fluency in either English or French, as well as a working knowledge of the other. Knowledge of Arabic or Portuguese would be advantageous.
  • Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 32 in the year they apply for the internship.
  • Any other applicants whom the President may authorize.

Benefits of Internship

  • Coverage of reasonable return fare transportation charges to their internship location before to start.
  • A monthly tax-free stipend of USD 800 is payable at the end of each month to assist with living expenses.
  • Accommodation in a hotel chosen by the Bank (bed and breakfast only) for one week during the induction period, upon arriving at the internship site based on previous location for interns.
  • Transfer from the airport to the hotel and vice versa.
  • If necessary, a relevant visa for the duration of the internship program.
