DAAD/Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships 2023-2024: Applications for the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarships to study in Germany are still being accepted. The scholarships are available to students from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America who want to study for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Germany.

FES sponsorships are given to up to 40 students each year. International students receive a monthly stipend of 861 EUR, and health insurance costs are covered. Students with children are entitled to a family allowance of 276 EUR. Students from any topic who have demonstrated excellent school or academic distinction and aspire to study in Germany are eligible to apply.

Applicants from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe are eligible for the scholarships. Students from any subject who have excelled in school or academics and aspire to study in Germany are eligible to apply.

Criteria for Eligibility and Selection

  • African, Asian, Latin American, and Eastern European applicants are eligible.
  • Academic excellence of the candidates is taken into account.
    Candidates must want to study in Germany and be committed to social democratic ideas.
  • High-achieving pupils with superior social and academic skills are preferred.
  • Subjects Who Are Eligible: Students from any topic who have demonstrated excellent school or academic distinction and aspire to study in Germany are eligible to apply.
  • English Language condition: This is not a required condition.

Scholarship Value and Benefits

  • International students are paid a monthly basis of EUR 861.
