Generation Google Scholarship (EMEA) 2023 | Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for the Generation Google Scholarship (EMEA) 2023 must meet the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled full-time in a Bachelors program at an approved university or college during the 2022-2023 academic year.
    Intend to enroll or get accepted as a full-time student in a Bachelors program at an approved university in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa for the 2023-2024 academic year.
  • Be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technological discipline.
  • Show a strong academic record.
  • Exhibit leadership and a strong desire to improve the representation of underrepresented groups in computer
  • science and technology.

How-to-Apply

Applicants for the Generation Google Scholarship (EMEA) 2023 must submit an online application that includes:

  • Answers to short-answer essay questions.

Questions for Essays:

The two short answer essay questions below are intended to measure applicants’ problem-solving abilities as well as their dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Each response to the two questions below should be 500 words or less.

What steps have you taken to remedy this disparity, and what steps do you intend to take? Please devote at least half of your response to the actions you have taken. Keep in mind that influence can occur in a variety of ways and at various scales.
