Individuals whose R350 Grant application was denied by SASSA may file an appeal, which may result in them receiving the social support mechanism.

The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) award, often known as the R350 grant, is a key relief measure offered to unemployed South Africans between the ages of 18 and 59.

How to File an R350 Grant Appeal

You can apply for the R350 award by filling out an application and submitting it to the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa). Your application will be reviewed and a decision will be made.

If Sassa rejects your R350 grant application, you have the option to file an appeal if you disagree with the decision. The Independent Tribunal for Social Assistance Appeals (ITSAA) must hear appeals.
