The JAMB Registration Portal 2024 has opened, which is great news for Jambites! The dates and schedule for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) examination have been announced, and the Jamb Registration 2024 portal is now open. We’ve provided some helpful pre-information on dates and registration procedures below.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced that registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will now end on February 22 instead of February 14. The Jamb portal can be accessed at www.jamb.gov.ng for both enrolment and exam-related information.

Registration and Exam Dates for JAMB 2024/2025.

The following is the registration and examination schedule for the 2024/2025 Jamb;

The sale of ePINs will end on February 20, while registration will end on February 22. The previous schedule had ended on February 14th.
The dates of the mock and UTME exams have yet to be determined.
To find out your exact examination date and location, you will need to reprint your JAMB slip at various points during the registration process.

Meanwhile, it is important to note that applicants must now provide their National Identity Number (NIN) before registering for the 2023 JAMB examinations.

How Much Is the JAMB 2024 Registration Fee?

The JAMB 2024 registration fee is N3,500 for both UTME and DE candidates, while the approved CBT service charge is N700 (this amount is now paid directly to JAMB). There is also a N500 fee for the recommended Novel and a N700 fee for candidates who want to take the JAMB mock exam.

How to Sign Up/Register

Follow the simple steps below to register for the 2024 JAMB examination. Please keep in mind that you will also need to visit one of the accredited JAMB registration centers to fill out and submit the online registration form.

Registration Steps:

  • Prepare your NIN: It is now mandatory to obtain your National Identification Number before registering (NIN)

  • Make your Jamb profile here: The simplest method is to use the Jamb USSD code. To generate your 10-digit unique profile code, dial *55019*NIN# or *66019*NIN# and send. To create your Jamb profile, go to portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility and click on the ‘Sign up for UTME/DE’ button. Before purchasing the 2023 registration form, you must first register your Jamb profile (e-PIN).
  • Prepare an E-mail Account: While you may not need an email at first, it is critical that you have a valid email address for communication with Jamb during the examination. JAMB recommends Gmail for quick delivery and Yahoo mail as an alternative. This may also be required to access the JAMB portal.
  • Explore Jamb iBass: It is recommended by Jamb that you check your eligibility before registering for the 2023 UTME examination.
  • Purchase an e-PIN: Using your 10-digit unique profile code, you can purchase your Jamb 2023 e-PIN online, at participating banks across the country (see list below), or at other selling points.
  • Visit an Accredited CBT Center: To complete your registration, go to any accredited CBT centre with your personal information, Jamb profile, and e-PIN or Code.

Candidates can approach or use any of the selling points listed below to purchase their e-Pin.

  • NIPOST: Check with post offices across the country.
  • Commercial Banks Participating: (ACCESS, ECOBANK, FIRSTBANK, FCMB, FIDELITY, JAIZ, SKYE, STERLING, UNION, UNITY and ZENITH)
  • Mobile Money Operators: Paga, e-Tranzact (PocketMoni), TEASYPay, and Packway Projects (Readycash)
  • Participating Micro Finance Banks: FUD MFB (Dutse) and Regent MFB (Abuja)
  • Online Payment Platforms: SystemSpecs (Remita) and InterSwitch (Quickteller) POS (Citi-Serve)
  • ATMs: Use the ATMs of banks listed above (InterSwitch)
  • USSD: (NIBSS & ERCAS) for mobile banking
  • Embassy: Nigerian Embassies in Abidjan, Accra, Addis Ababa, Buea, Cotonou, Jeddah, Johannesburg and London
  • Creating an email account is no longer the first step; instead, dial *55019*1*NIN# to generate your profile code for JAMB registration.
