The 2024 Ecobank Fintech Challenge is now accepting applications from talented innovators across Africa. This remarkable opportunity aims to support and foster advancements in the Fintech ecosystem while empowering African entrepreneurs to expand their products.
The Challenge actively seeks out Fintech companies that are prepared to take their ventures to the next level and offers them invaluable support and access to opportunities in Ecobank’s 33 African markets. Participation in the Challenge is open to all Fintechs based on the African continent.
Ecobank Fintech Challenge 2024 | DETAILS
The primary objective of the Fintech Challenge is to foster collaboration between the pan-African Bank and innovative participants, with a special focus on integrating solutions into Ecobank’s comprehensive digital platforms. Furthermore, the challenge aims to expand the innovators’ businesses and operations in vital sectors within Ecobank’s extensive ecosystem covering 33 countries.
Upon selection, finalists have the opportunity to showcase their innovations at the Fintech Innovation Fair, where the ultimate winner is awarded a prize of $50,000. Additionally, all finalists become part of the esteemed Ecobank Fellowship, granting them access to explore potential deals, integration opportunities, and commercial partnerships with the Ecobank Group.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Fintech Challenge 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be from the African continent.
- All Fintechs with an Africa-Focused or Africa relevant product are eligible to apply.
- Demonstrate excellent command of the workability of the Fintech solution.

Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: Interested applicants for the Ecobank Fintech Challenge are to fill and complete the online application on or before the application deadline. Applicants will be required to submit a demo version of their Fintech product.
