We are thrilled to announce that UNITAR is organizing two exciting 5-day field visits to the beautiful city of Geneva, Switzerland this summer. These visits present a unique opportunity for participants to fully engage with the host city, where the main United Nations offices are located, and gain invaluable firsthand experience of the United Nations. We invite applications from individuals worldwide to join us for the 2023 editions of the United Nations Immersion Programme.

In light of the ongoing global pandemic and any associated travel restrictions, we understand that some registered participants may be unable to travel to Switzerland this summer. To ensure that everyone can still benefit from this remarkable experience, we are pleased to offer an alternative option. In the event that COVID-19-related travel restrictions prevent participants from attending the field visit in Geneva, they will have the opportunity to participate in the United Nations Online Immersion Programme at no cost. This virtual program will allow participants to engage with the United Nations and immerse themselves in its work from the comfort of their own homes.
